Ukrgazvydobuvannia pays UAH 214 mln under 2013 credit agreement to Delta-Bank executing court ruling

Public joint-stock company Ukrgazvydobuvannia executing a ruling of the higher business court of Ukraine paid UAH 214.1 million to Delta-Bank under a credit agreement signed in September 2013.

"Ukrgazvydobuvannia made its best to channel the funds directly to Delta-Bank to pay liabilities to the bank's depositors," the company said.

Ukrgazvydobuvannia recalled that there were attempts to collect the debt in favor of the bank, as well as the persons who decided to acts as guarantors without the company's approval.

"The company planned to pay the debt under the above-mentioned credit agreements [dated August-September 2013], but in February 2015 Delta-Bank said that the debt of Ukrgazvydobuvannia was paid by individual guarantors. Five persons under one agreement and seven under another agreement acted as guarantors of the implementation of these credit agreements two weeks before the temporary administration was introduced to the bank. They did not inform Ukrgazvydobuvannia about this," the company said.

The company said that deposits of individuals who decided to acts as guarantors were from UAH 13.5 million to UAH 50.5 million in Delta-Bank.
