Ukraine's Health Ministry has changed the system for paying to international organizations, which procure medicines and medical products using budget funds, acting Minister Ulana Suprun said at a press conference on Thursday.

"Now we would not pay in advance. We will pay only after holding a tender when it is known what is procured," she said.

Earlier the procurement system with participation of international organizations was often criticized, in particular, over the requirements of international organizations to work with 100% advance payment. The money allocated from the national budget was immediately sent to accounts of these international organizations for holding procurement tenders.
