Ukraine and Belarus intend to achieve mutual trade turnover of $5 bln - Poroshenko
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has declared the goal of relations between Ukraine and Belarus is raising trade turnover to $5 billion.
"We set the task in the near future to reach $5 billion of our mutual trade turnover," Poroshenko said during a joint statement with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in Kyiv.
According to him, trade turnover between Ukraine and Belarus increased by 26% compared to 2016.
For Ukraine, Belarus is the fourth largest partner in trade turnover, while Ukraine is second for Belarus, the president of Ukraine noted.
