Siemens turbines were to be shipped only to Taman under contract
A contract for gas turbines manufactured by Siemens for Russia envisioned their shipment only to Taman in the Krasnodar territory, and any change of the shipment destination required the company's written consent, which was never requested, Siemens spokesperson Philipp Encz said to Interfax.
"Yes, it was contractually agreed that the only destination of this power plant equipment is Taman in Krasnodar, and any change of destination or location could only occur with our written consent which was never asked for," Encz said.
"Therefore we see it as a clear breach of contract. And therefore we are pushing charges against it," he said.
