NCER resolutions approving license conditions for generating power, feed-in tariffs for households published

Resolutions of the National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER) No. 309 dated March 22, 2017 on the license conditions for electricity generation and No. 428 dated March 30, 2017 on setting feed-in tariffs for electricity for private households were published in the Uriadovy Kurier government's newspaper on Tuesday.

Thus, the resolution on the license conditions would take effect in two months and the resolution on feed-in tariffs on June 21.

Earlier NCER Head Dmytro Vovk complained about delays with the publication of the commission's resolutions in official media. As of June 14, a total of 32 resolutions had not been published, including publication of 20 resolutions pending for over two weeks, and some of them for up to 100 days. This creates serious risks for stable and independent operations of the commission, he said.

The National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation regulates the activity of monopoly entities in the fields of energy, heating supply, central water supply and drainage, oil and gas industries, solid waste treatment, and implements state price and tariff setting policies in these sectors.
