Ukraine's Infrastructure Ministry Minister Volodymyr Omelyan has supported the idea of curtailing bus and railways travel to and from the Russian Federation and establishing a visa regime with that country.

The Kyiv-based Interfax-Ukraine news agency reports Omelyan told this to journalists on Tuesday, June 6.

"As a citizen of Ukraine I support the idea," Omelyan said, adding it was up to Ukraine's government to make the final decision.

Omelyan, meanwhile, denied rumors Ukraine had already decided to stop railway travel to and from Russia.
