UIA will launch flights to Budapest and Bergamo, intensify flights on some European routes in summer

Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv), the leading air carrier of the country, in the summer navigation period of 2017 will increase the frequency of flights from Kyiv to a number of European capitals (from March 26 to October 28).

According to the press service of the airline, it will carry out 21 flights per week to Vilnius, 14 flights to London, Amsterdam, Stockholm and Paris, ten flights to Brussels, and seven flights to Athens and Barcelona.

"Hungary has also appeared on the map of the UIA routes. In mid-June UIA will launch daily flights to Budapest. The carrier also opens a new, fifth route to Italy and offers passengers daily communication between Kyiv and Bergamo," the report said.

Among the traditional seasonal flights are Kyiv-Nice (four times a week), Kyiv-Palanga (three times a week) and Kyiv-Madrid (three times a week).

The long-haul program includes four routes: from Kyiv to New York (seven flights a week), Bangkok (three flights per week), Beijing (seven flights per week), and Colombo (two flights a week).

UIA will also perform a number of charter flights from the capital and regions of Ukraine - Lviv, Odesa, Zaporizhia and Ivano-Frankivsk - to the resort cities of Egypt and Turkey: Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada, Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman, as well as the island of Palma de Mallorca. The program foresees charter flights from Lviv to Tivat and Montenegro.
