The enterprises of Metinvest mining and metallurgical group in the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, temporarily uncontrolled by Ukrainian authorities, have announced the cancellation of all the letters of attorney they issued earlier.

According to the announcement, the letters of attorney were canceled by PJSC Yenakiyeve Metallurgical Plant, PJSC Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant, PJSC Komsomolske mining administration, and PJSC Krasnodonvuhillia located in the uncontrolled areas.

The powers of attorney were annulled in accordance with Part 2 of Article 248 of the Civil Code of Ukraine in connection with the termination of representation on the revoked letters of attorney.

As reported, Metinvest on March 15 this year announced the loss of control over the activities of its enterprises in the uncontrolled territories.

"Metinvest Group declares a complete loss of control over the operation of all its assets in the uncontrolled areas due to the requirements of the leadership of the unrecognized republics about the need to re-register the enterprises located in the so called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics," the press service of the group said.
