The decision of the European Union to issue the second tranche of macro-financial assistance in the amount of EUR600 million to Ukraine remains unchanged, despite the decision of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to postpone considering the issue of the next tranche of a loan of about $1 billion to Ukraine.

The press service of the EU Delegation to Ukraine told Interfax-Ukraine they are closely monitoring the situation with the IMF decision, but at the moment their announcement made on last Thursday, March 16, remains in force, i.e. Ukraine will be able to obtain the second tranche in late March-early April 2017.
