An African swine fever (ASF) case has been recorded in private household of Zaporizhia.

The press service of Zaporizhia City Hall told Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday that on February 21 in the Komunarsky district of Zaporizhia a pig died in a private household. ASF was diagnosed during the examination of the selected samples of biological material of the pig.

Sanitary services of the city said that the radius of the outbreak is 3 km. Measures are being taken to localize the disease.
