Agricultural production in Ukraine 2.4% down in Jan
Agricultural production in Ukraine (excluding the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and Sevastopol, part of the ATO zone) in January 2017 fell by 2.4% compared to the same period in 2016.
According to the State Statistics Service, during this period agricultural enterprises decreased production by 2.9%, private households by 1.8%.
As reported, agricultural production in Ukraine in 2016 increased by 6.1% compared to 2015.
The agricultural production index reflects the relative level of changes in general natural volumes of agricultural output for certain periods of time that are selected for comparison. To determine the index of agricultural product, the service uses the volume of agricultural production in constant prices. Average prices in 2010 are used as constant prices.
