Ukraine sees 0.8% increase in gas production in 10 months

Natural gas production in Ukraine January through October 2016 grew by 0.8%, or 125.7 million cubic meters (mcm), year-over-year, to 16.635 billion cubic meters (bcm), the Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Ministry told Interfax-Ukraine.

NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy's enterprises reduced gas output by 1%, or 129.1 mcm, to 13.231 bcm. In particular, PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia produced 12.146 bcm of gas, and PJSC Ukrnafta's output was 1.085 bcm.

Other producers boosted gas output by 8.1%, or 254.8 mcm, to 3.404 bcm in January-October 2016.

In 10 months of 2016, other large gas producers were PrJSC Naftogazvydobuvannia (1.349 bcm), ESKO-Pivnich LLC (507.848 mcm), PrJSC Ukrnaftoburinnia (245.313 mcm), PrJSC Natural Resources (188.17 mcm), KUB-Gas LLC (174.5 mcm), JV Poltava Petroleum Company (144.95 mcm), PrJSC Davon (103.981 mcm), PrJSC Ukrgazvydobutok (97.381 mcm), First Ukrainian Petroleum Company (93.647 mcm), Energia-95 LLC (77.598 mcm), Nadra Geoinvest LLC (76.109 mcm), Systemoilengineering LLC (62.673 mcm), Regal Petroleum LLC (53.242 mcm), PrJSC Plast with Strilkove gas field (27.79 mcm), Prom Energo Product LLC (25.33 mcm), Sirius 1 LLC (23.97 mcm), Pari (17.97 mcm), Ukrgas Invest LLC (15.311 mcm) and Nadra Geocenter LLC (15.296 mcm).
