PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia in January-September 2016 posted net profit under Ukrainian accounting standards in the amount of UAH 1.238 billion, reads a company report in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market.

There are no comparative figures for the same period last year as the company started business activities from December 1, 2015.

Its net income for the period amounted to UAH 48.889 billion, the cost of sales some UAH 44.481 billion.

In addition, the company posted UAH 2.578 billion of other operating income and saw UAH 6.408 billion of other operating expenses.

Administrative and sales expenditure in general stood at UAH 486.4 million.

Significant also were other income and financial expenses, which amounted to UAH 5.255 billion and UAH 3.697 billion.

Ukrzaliznytsia's financial plan for 2016 provides for a net profit of UAH 96.8 million with revenues being UAH 78.4 billion. Its net income is planned in the amount of UAH 74.7 billion, in particular that from transportation of goods and passengers UAH 66.59 billion, from auxiliary production UAH 7.83 billion.
