Public joint-stock company Odesa Port-Side Plant saw UA 316.583 million in net loss in July-September 2016 compared to UAH 53.345 million of net profit in Q3 2015.

The company said that its net revenue plunged by 70% or UAH 1.925 billion, to UAH 851.413 million, and gross loss totaled UAH 14.494 million compared to UAH 265.562 million of gross profit.

In January-September 2016, the plant saw net loss of UAH 560.52 million compared to UAH 205.298 million of net profit in January-September 2015. Net revenue decreased by 52.4% or UAH 4.553 billion, to UAH 4.024 billion, and gross profit – by 86.3% or UAH 1.14 billion, to UAH 180.41 million.

The plant in January-September halved mineral fertilizer production (by 566,000 tonnes) year-over-year, to 589,000 tonnes. Fertilizers' sales fell by 47.4% or 534,000 tonnes, to 628,000.

State-owned Odesa Port-Side Chemical Plant produces chemical products and transships ammonia to vessels.
