Profit of state-run Oschadbank (Kyiv) in January-September 2016 totaled UAH 410.7 million, while the bank saw UAH 5.4 billion loss a year ago, the bank has said in a press release.

Operating income over the period under review exceeded UAH 7 billion, including almost UAH 5 billion of net interest income and UAH 1.5 billion of net fee income. Net fee income grew by UAH 402.5 billion or 35.8%.

Assets increased by 20.2%, to UAH 181.3 billion. Credits grew by 4.2%, to UAH 104.5 billion mainly thanks to credits issued to companies (they rose by 4%, to UAH 99 billion). Net worth increased by 107.3%, to UAH 15.2 billion mainly thanks to an increase in charter capital by UAH 4.96 billion, to UAH 34.86 billion.

Deposits of companies and individuals rose by 37.9%, to UAH 127.7 billion. Companies' deposits expanded by 68.6%, to UAH 66.3 billion and individuals' deposits – by 15.2%, to UAH 61.4 billion.

Regulatory capital adequacy was 10.74% as of October 1, 2016.

Oschadbank was founded in 1991. Its sole owner is the state.

Oschadbank ranked second among 108 operating banks in the country on July 1, 2016 by total assets (UAH 185.077 billion), according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
