Ukrainian PM, German ambassador discuss reforms in Ukraine

Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and German Ambassador to Ukraine Ernst Wolfgang Reichel discussed on Thursday the progress of reforms in Ukraine and the areas of bilateral cooperation development.

The prime minister congratulated the ambassador on the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Ukraine, the government press service reported. Groysman said that Ukraine appreciates the high level of political dialogue with Germany and its support in the implementation of systemic reforms in the international arena.

"He noted the intensification of bilateral cooperation and the implementation of a number of activities within the framework of the agreements reached earlier. For instance, several large-scale events have been held recently: the 9th meeting of the [Ukraine-Germany] High-Level Group, the second Ukrainian-German economic forum and the opening of the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce," the press service said.

"The parties discussed the progress of reforms in Ukraine. In this context, the prime minister briefed the German ambassador on the government's agenda for their implementation," the Cabinet's press service reported.

Next week, the government will present the Office Investment Support, which will assist companies investing in Ukraine, he said.
