Private joint-stock company Darnitsa pharmaceutical firm (Kyiv) saw a 48.9% fall in net profit in January-June 2016 year-over-year, to UAH 144.298 million.

The company has reported in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market, its net revenue grew by 19.6%, to UAH 976.308 million and gross profit grew by 3.23%, to UAH 534.757 million.

In Q1 2016 the firm saw a 59.4% fall in net profit year-over-year, to UAH 89.333 million.

In July-September 2015 the firm saw a 42.4% rise in net profit year-over-year, to UAH 282.534 million. In 2014 the company saw a 47.8% rise in net profit, totaling UAH 295.955 million.

Darnitsa pharmaceutical firm is among the top-ten largest pharmaceutical producers of Ukraine and is one of the top-ten largest suppliers to hospitals.

The owner of the company is Ukrainian citizen, MP from Petro Poroshenko Bloc Hlib Zahoriy.
