DTEK builds up 55% stake in Naftogazvydobuvannia

DTEK has built up 55% of shares in the largest private gas producer in Ukraine Naftogazvydobuvannia via на DTEK Oil&Gas B.V. (the Netherlands).

The company reported in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market of Ukraine, the share of DTEK Oil&Gas B.V grew from 26,6475% to 55%, while the share of Wolford Holdings Limited (Cyprus) that the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine permitted DTEK to acquire in November 2013, fell from 16.751% to 0.0001%.

Other changes were made in the structure of Naftogazvydobuvannia's owners: the share of Cypriot Foloux Consulting Limited and Vediston Management Limited fell from 25% to 15% and 16.6475% to 0% respectively. Dutch Salazie B.V. became the holder of 25% of shares. Earlier Salazie company did not hold shares in the Ukrainian company.

The press service of DTEK told Interfax-Ukraine that in 2015-2016 the group did not sign deals on acquisition of additional shares in the private joint-stock company.

"In 2013, the business restructuring process started at DTEK. DTEK Oil&Gas holding was created to manage oil and gas assets of the group. Shares in Naftogazvydobuvannia that were bought by the group in 203-2014 are being gradually transferred to the holding," the press service said.

DTEK did not comment on changes in the structure of other owners of the company, adding that they do not have the right to disclose information on other companies that are shareholders in Naftogazvydobuvannia.
