Ukrtransnafta, BNK will resolve disputes as for oil pumping on Yuzhny-Brody-Mozyr route in Belarusian arbitration

PJSC Ukrtransnafta has appealed to the International Arbitration Court of Belarus to resolve the dispute with BNK (Belarusian Oil Company) related to oil pumping on the Yuzhny marine terminal-Brody-Mozyr route, company CEO Mykola Havrylenko has said.

"We've lost more on replacement of quality than got in gross income for the fare [for pumping to Belarus]. The issue has not been resolved until now, we have to fund its consideration in arbitration," he told reporters in Kyiv.

According to Havrylenko, a lawsuit under one contract with BNK was filed in December 2015, on the second one in January 2016. The company's expenses have already exceeded EUR400,000.

The expert noted that the selection of arbitration in Belarus to resolve the disputable issues was stipulated in the contract.

"There will be three arbitrators, two of them are Belarusian citizens and one is a Ukrainian," he said.
