The debt of two companies of Ostchem Group belonging to businessman Dmytro Firtash, PJSC Severodonetsk Azot (Luhansk region) and PJSC Stirol Concern (Horlivka, Donetsk region), to Naftogaz Ukrainy has to be repaid in equal installments over the 24 months after the end of hostilities.

This is reported in a press release of Naftogaz Ukrainy regarding Ostchem's implementing an amicable agreement with Naftogaz.

The state company noted that Severodonetsk Azot and Stirol since May 2014 have not been carrying out production activities as they are located in or near the ATO zone.

Naftogaz also confirmed the information previously announced by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk that two other companies of Ostchem, namely PJSC Azot (Cherkasy) and PJSC Rivneazot, repaid the debt for a total of UAH 2.96 billion to Naftogaz and its subsidiary Gaz Ukrainy: UAH 1.83 billion for gas consumed and UAH 1.12 billion in penalties, interest and other charges.
