Aviation Service recommends cancellation, issue of permits to certain air carriers

The commission of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine for consideration of issues regarding the right to operate air routes on November 30, 2015 recommended the service head to cancel and issue a number of permits for flights to Ukrainian airlines.

According to an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent, the commission recommended the cancellation of permits previously issued to Ukraine International Airlines for regular flights from Kyiv to Varna, Pula, Rimini, Heraklion, Rhodes, from Kharkiv to Heraklion.

It is also recommended to cancel permits previously issued to Windrose for regular flights from Kyiv to Larnaca, Enfidha, Palma de Mallorca, as well as retain permits for flights from Dnipropetrovsk to Larnaca and from Kyiv to Barcelona.

In addition, the commission recommended the issue of permits for flights to Saudi Arabia for the air transportation company of Pivdenmash, ZetAvia from Kyiv and Odesa to Tianjin for freight air service.

In addition, the commission recommended the re-issue of a number of permits for UTair Ukraine in connection with the change of name to Azur Air Ukraine, while UM Air was recommended to increase the frequency of flights on the Kyiv-Tehran route from one to four flights per week.
