Ukraine stops exchange of info with Russia on Igla, Strela air defense systems sales to third countries - Cabinet

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has signed a decree on the termination of the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of the Russian Federation on exchanging information on Igla and Strela portable air defense missile system exports to third party countries and imports from third party countries.

"To terminate the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of Russia on the exchange of information on Igla and Strela portable air defense missile complexes within their exports to third countries and imports from third countries, signed in Kyiv on May 22, 2009," reads decree No. 857 dated October 28, 2015 which has been posted on the website of the government.

The resolution also charges the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine with notifying the Russian government on the termination of the agreement.
