The Finance Ministry of Ukraine has forecast that the final tax reform model will be defined in November 2015.

"In November 2015 it is planned to finish the discussion of two tax reform models proposed by the Finance Ministry and the profile parliamentary committee and define what tax changes will be introduced in Ukraine," Deputy Finance Minister Olena Makeyeva wrote on her Facebook page on Tuesday.

She said that there is large demand for tax reform and tax cuts in society, and the Finance Ministry in March proposed a communications strategy under which the ministry discussed the tax model with business and the public.

As reported, the National Reforms Council of the Ukrainian president in spring 2015 created the targeted group Tax Reform headed by Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko. In May-August, open communications platforms and sector platforms where the ministry and targeted groups discussed the tax reform concept with experts and business representatives were launched.
