Private joint-stock company Otis (Kyiv), a manufacturer of lifts, manufactured 728 lifts in 2014, which is 23.8% up on 2013, and sold 672 lifts, a rise of 8.7% year-over-year, the company said in its financial report for 2014 posted in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market of Ukraine.

The company said that the share of lifts out of total production was 38.2% or UAH 188 million, and of total sales – 38.6% or UAH 192.16 million.

Shaft doors and lift cabins have the largest share of total production and sales – 48.6% and 48.3% respectively.

Last year Otis produced 64,596 shaft doors worth UAH 239.67 million and sold 64,286 doors worth UAH 240.18 million (62,960 and 62,230 respectively in 2013).

The company provided lift services worth UAH 64.9 million (UAH 87.37 million in 2013).

According to the report, net revenue of Otis under Ukrainian accounting standards grew by 5.5% in 2014, to almost UAH 602 million, and net profit fell by 33.5%, to UAH 37.23, according to revised data.

Gross profit fell by 22.4%, to UAH 79.4 million and operating profit dropped by almost 54%, to UAH 28.76 million.

Otis has been operating on the Ukrainian market since 1992. It is part of U.S. Otis Elevator, the world's leading manufacturer of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways. Otis Elevator is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation (UTC).
