Prydniprovska Railways more than doubles net profit in 2014
Prydniprovska Railways (Dnipropetrovsk) has increased its net profit by 2.3 times in 2014, to UAH 59.384 million, the enterprise said in an annual report posted in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market of Ukraine.
The enterprise said that its net revenue fell by 14.4% in 2014, to UAH 7.235 billion.
As reported, Prydniprovska Railways increased net profit by 25 times in January-September 2014, from UAH 1.074 million to UAH 26.928 million, and its net revenue over the period fell by 14.4%, to UAH 5.331 billion.
Prydniprovska Railways services Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions, Crimea and several districts in five regions. It operates 244 stations, including seven passenger stations and 67 freight stations.
