Poroshenko's investment fund builds up 48.28% stake in Kyiv Experimental Structures Plant

Public joint-stock company Prime Asset Capital closed non-diversified corporate investment fund of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has increased its stake in the share capital of public joint-stock company Kyiv Experimental Structures Plant (both based in Kyiv) to 48.2766% or 2.738 million ordinary nominal shares, the plant said in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market of Ukraine, referring to the depository's information dated April 16, 2015.

Before the changes were made, Prime Asset Capital held 8.1705% or 463,451 shares in the company.

In the securities commission's system Prime Asset Capital is the holder of a 48.2766% stake in the plant as of Q4, 2014.

As of April 16, 2015, the shareholders in the plant were also head of the supervisory board of the plant Oleksiy Poroshenko (14.7109%, also head of the supervisory board of Prime Asset Capital) and member of the audit commission Liudmyla Ovdiy (0.352%).

According to the state register of companies and individuals-businessmen, as of April 20, 2015 the owner of the 100% share in Prime Asset Capital was Petro Poroshenko.

Kyiv Experimental Structures Plant was created via the reorganization of the eponymous state enterprise in 1995.

The plant, which had previously made welded metal structures for nuclear and thermal power plants, in 2013 mainly produced bearing and fencing structures. The plant also rents out its own property.
