The Ukrainian government expects that GDP decline by 6% in 2014 will be replaced by the growth of 2% in 2015 due to the implementation of economic reforms.

Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak said at a government meeting that the draft national budget for 2015 is based on such a forecast.

"Minus 6% would be a good result by the end of the year," said the minister.

According to him, the average annual inflation in 2015 is projected at 13%.

The minister said that the government had planned for two scenarios for the development of the macroeconomic situation: one with reforms, and the other without significant changes in the current legislation.
