The upper price of natural gas for industrial consumers and enterprises financed from the national and local budgets will grow by 3.2% from September 1, 2014, from UAH 4,724 per 1,000 cubic meters to UAH 4,874 per 1,000 cubic meters (not including value added tax, the surcharge, transportation, distribution and supply tariffs).

The decision is stipulated in resolutions of the National Commission for Energy Regulation (NCER) No. 1153-1154 of August 28, 2014.

The commission also set the price of natural gas for needs of religious organizations, which will be 50% of the price for industrial consumers – UAH 2,437 per 1,000 cubic meters to UAH 4,874 per 1,000 cubic meters (not including value added tax, the surcharge, transportation, distribution and supply tariffs).

The National Commission for Energy Regulation regulates the activity of monopoly entities in the energy sector and oil and gas industries, and implements state price and tariff policies in these spheres.
