Nova Poshta plans to launch international postal delivery service by autumn

Nova Poshta, one of the largest players on the Ukrainian market for express delivery of documents, parcels and freight, plans to launch a service of international postal delivery by autumn 2014, Director for Business Development at Nova Poshta Serhiy Kovalenko said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.

"Now we've received all the required permits, the operation process is underway, and I think by autumn we'll be able to launch the service," he said.

Nova Poshta Director General Viacheslav Klymov said that at present the operation and technological preparation for the launch of the service is being conducted, a marketing research has been launched, which will allow define a list of top-priority countries from which postal cargo will be delivered. He said that it is likely that the top-priority countries will be Poland, the United States, China and Turkey.

The company announced the launch of the service in May. It is planned to deliver parcels using intermediaries.

Currently, Nova Poshta includes 1,437 outlets throughout Ukraine in 688 settlements, sends five million parcels a month.
