Yanukovych meets with ExxonMobil officials despite U.S. decision to cancel visas
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych met with ExxonMobil Exploration chief Stephen Greenlee and Exploration Director Kevin Biddle, the presidential Web site reported.
A multinational consortium led by ExxonMobil plans to sign an agreement with Ukraine to develop hydrocarbons at the Skifske deposit on the Black Sea shelf.
The U.S. imposed sanctions against a number of Ukrainian officials on January 22 over the actions the authorities have taken against protesters there.
